Accurate traffic modelling always requires proper evaluation of primary data on site. The counting of vehicles and analysis of their behaviour on transport networks is therefore a necessity. This shall therefore be driven by effective traffic surveys and empirical observation. Our philosophy is that data collection is not the cost-driver of infrastructure projects, but integral to the design phase of a project.
